Yet To Be Realised

The reason i have selected this images is because of the massages that arises by watching it. I have captured this image few years ago right before i came to UK. At that point of my life i remember my self feeling the need to leave. The image could have strong and clear narrative that could be easily seen by others.
By watching this image i immediately see the imprisonment. You cannot see any locker of anything that indicates that the person is in that position because of others and thus it could be said that there might be mental imprisonment. Nevertheless the way that the hand touches the irons, gives the sense that there is a will to leave. I cannot see the effort in doing so but i can imagine the state of mind of that person. He wants to escape but nothing else to do? In my opinion this image might be the opposite of freedom.
The elements that gives to the image narrative qualities is the composition. The colors as well as the point of view have a darkness which creates a more dramatic concept. Moreover the fact that there  is focus on the hand and the irons provides help to understanding the intended narrative.
If i am asked how this narrative could be developed through following images, i would say that the options are many. Nevertheless my first thought is that the person who is now imprisoned in a way but shows a need to leave with the jail open. Then the person who is now having the first steps to his freedom is now preparing his life to a new version of that person leaving the way he wants free from any mental imprisonments. I also wanted to say that when i saw the previous pictures of my colleague i thought of the opposite of the narrative that i understood of that image. Hence my chosen image could be said to be the reality and the previous image to be a thought or a dream or a will to leave in that way. (in mental sense)
